Any OU user can access cloud printing kiosks by manually logging in or by swiping an OU ID card (SoonerCard).
Kiosk status and availability are displayed on an interactive map, both through the user interface on each kiosk as well as via the wēpa app on personal devices. OU IT monitors live printer status and consumables levels, allowing technicians to be dispatched if paper or toner levels are low, or if mechanical issues are in need of quick resolution.
There are several printing options from your personal computer.
- Download wēpa’s print app at wepanow.com/printapp and print your document directly by selecting “File > Print” and choosing wēpa-BW or wēpa-COLOR.
- Print directly to wēpa kiosks from any OU IT computer lab or OU Libraries desktop computer.
- Go to wepanow.com/webupload. Upload your document to the cloud storage space, and when you arrive at a kiosk on campus your file will be ready to print!
Android app and iOS app users are able to use the camera on personal devices to scan documents and send them directly to cloud printing kiosks. These documents will stay in the cloud for 96 hours and will be instantly ready to print at any kiosk on campus.
You can print directly from Dropbox, Google Drive, Office 365, OneDrive, or Box by logging in at the wēpa kiosk, browse your files, select content to print, pay, and print.
Email your document to firstname.lastname@example.org and enter the release code you receive in response at any kiosk.
Simply insert your flash drive into the front of the kiosk and tap the USB button on the kiosk screen to access your files available for printing. Don’t forget to take your flash drive with you when you leave!
