Message Relay Whitelisting

OU IT can assist with whitelisting of IP addresses or email addresses for the purposes of routing email messages from OU run applications and systems.

IP address whitelisting must be a Static IP or within specific IP ranges. Public IP ranges, like the Amazon AWS public IP pool, may not be approved for whitelisting. The Message Sender or Recipient address must contain at least one valid address but can differ between messages.

Email address whitelisting will be set per email address. If the address changes a new whitelisting request must be filed. The IP address of the system or relay sending the messages is not required but may be asked for any external email sources as a second validation check.
